Twilight Breaking Dawn!!!

 So Friday at midnight is what you have all been waiting for, Breaking Dawn!! Come on you know you have been waiting for this moment all year long. I have said I am not a fanatic by no means, but I absolutely love this series.  No I don't own tons of twilight stuff,  No I don't own any of the movies and No I will not be standing in line at midnight but I will be seeing it. Now me and my sister go at it all the time she is Team Edward and I am Team Jacob He is way way hotter lol :), So I am taking a poll who are you for Team Edward or Team Jacob come by and leave your comment and the 20th person to comment will get a little surprise so come on over follow my blog leave your comment and hope you are the one who wins. Pot Roast!!

So last night We had left over pot roast and may I say it was the bomb, not just saying that because i made it but it was really good. I forgot to take pictures but I will give you the recipe so here we go.

  Get out your crock pot turn it on high fill it up with hot water.
 Get your meat I used Chuck Roast
Season it I used salt, pepper, dell sauce, and worcestershire sauce.
Put your meat into crock pot, pour more dell in.
 Let it cook on high all day and that night turn on low, get up the next day and turn back up on high let it cook all day it should be falling apart by now. Next pour out water and add fresh water pour in a little more dell then, Add carrots, potatoes, onions.
Now get a pack of beef stew seasoning mix it in,  mix in a can of cream of mushroom soup, add some red pepper to give a little heat let cook till all veggies are soft and then your done ready to eat. hope you enjoy. Eat with Cornbread, crackers, or rolls.

11-11-11 Veterans Day!!!

Hi everyone out in blog land, I know it's been a while I have had so much going on and has not had time to get on and blog, but I'm back and today is Veterans Day and I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the Veterans and service men and women who have served our great country in the past, present. I have so many family members who have served. So today I want to thank my grandfather, my uncle Butch who fought in the Vietnam War and my cousin Phillip who is in Afghanistan as we speak. Free Veteran's Day Meals & Food
  • Krispy Kreme - Krispy Kreme is saying ‘thank you’ to America’s service men and women by giving away one free doughnut to all active, retired and Veterans on November 11th. 
  • Hy-Vee- Participating Hy-Vee locations will give away free breakfasts on November 11th  from 7-11:00 A.M.  This offer is for in-store dining only.
  • Applebee's - Once again, participating Applebee’s will offer a Signature Entrée on November 11th.    Select from 7 meals including a 7-ounce House sirloin, Three Cheese Chicken Penne, Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger, Chicken Tenders Platter, Oriental Chicken Salad, Fiesta Lime Chicken and Double Crunch Shrimp – dine-in only. In order to receive the freebie, specific identification is required.  This marks the third year in a row the chain has participated in the event.  Last year, Applebee’s gave away over 1 million free meals.
  • Chili's - Participating Chili’s will also offer a free meal from a select menu for veterans and active military members from 11:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. on November 11, 2011.
  • Texas Roadhouse - Texas Roadhhouse is also saluting the military with a free lunch entrée and beverage on November 11th from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.  This offer is valid for dine-in only and for active, former or retired military.
  • Outback Steakhouse - Outback Steakhouse will give away a free Bloomin’ Onion and a Coke product from November 7 through November 11, 2011.  Specific identification is required.
  • Hooters - Participating Hooters will give away 10 free boneless or traditional wings to all Veterans and Active Duty personnel on November 11, 2011.  A drink purchase is required and proof of service must be presented.
  • McCormick & Schmicks - Participating McCormick & Schmicks Seafood Restaurants will give away one free lunch or dinner entrée from a select menu on Sunday, November 13, 2011.  Reservations are recommended.
  • Golden Corral - Golden Corral will be serving up free meals on Monday, November 14th from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M.  This offer is for dine-in only and is open to anyone who has ever served in the U.S. Military.
  • Denny’s - Active military and veteran’s will receive a free Grand Slam breakfast from Denny’s on November 11th from 6:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M.   Veterans will also be given a VIP Key Tag good for a 10 percent discount on future visits through November 2012.
  • TGI Fridays – Buy one entrée, get another one free on November 11th.  This offer applies to active duty and veterans.
  • Twin Peak Restaurants - All 15 Twin Peaks Restaurants in 5 states will be offering a free entrée, up to $10, to active duty and veterans on November 11th.   This offer is for dine-in only and ID is required.
  • Olive Garden -  The Olive Garden is also participating in Veteran’s Day by offering a free entrée for veterans and active duty military on 11/11/11.
  • Spaghetti Warehouse - Spaghetti Warehouse will offer a fabulous deal in honor of Veteran’s Day!  Just use the printable couple and receive a free lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs or any original recipe spaghetti entrée when you purchase another one for 11 cents.  Yep, you read that right!  This is the Once-in-a-Lifetime 11-11-11 offer.
  • Famous Daves - Depending on the specific location, participating Famous Dave’s locations will offer numerous deals for former and current military personnel including free meals, buy one, get one free and discounts. Visit the website for specifics.
  • Uno Chicago Grill - The fabulous Uno Chicago Grill will offer a discount of 19.43 percent for the military from November 7th through November 11th.
  • Picasso Pizza - In the mood for some 'za? Picasso Pizza will offer a 25 percent discount on lunch and dinner meals on November 11, 2011.
  • Schmizza Pizza - Schmizza Pizza is giving away one free slice of any pizza on display from 2-4:00 P.M. on Veteran’s Day.
  • Subway - Participating Subways will be offering a free 6-inch sub.
  • 7-Eleven - In honor of Veteran’s Day, 7-Eleven stores will be giving away small Slurpees on Veteran’s Day between 11:00 A.M and 7:00 P.M. Immediate family members can also receive a free small Slurpee.
Free Admission
  • Anheuser-Busch will offer free admission to SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Sesame Place parks and up to 3 direct dependants to members of the military on November 11th.
  • Knott’s Berry Farm will be offering free admission to veterans and active military members plus one guest beginning November 1st and running through November 24, 2011.
  • America’s National Parks  will  take part in the celebration by offering free admission to more than 100 national parks between November 11th and November 13th.

  • Amazon is offering a free album download , Veteran’s Day Honor, which includes 12 songs performed by military bands.
  • Red Roof Inn’s are offering a special savings of 26 percent on Veteran’s Day for all active duty military and veterans and a 15 percent discount during the entire month of November.
  • Sleep Number is giving away free cotton travel pillows to military personnel who visit the store on Veteran’s Day.
  • Home Depot is offering a 10 percent discount to all active duty, veterans, reserves and family members. This discount is available year-round.
  • Dollar General  stores will offer a 10 percent discount to all veterans, active military and members of the National Guard and Reserve and their immediate family members on November 11th for in-store purchases.  Use the ‘VETERANSDAY’ code during checkout to receive the 10 percent discount for online purchases between November 11th and November 13th. 
  • Big Lots  will offer a 10 percent discount on your entire purchase on November 11th.  This offer is for veterans and active duty personnel. Military ID is required.
  • Cabela’s will offer its employee discount to active duty, veterans, law enforcement and emergency responders.   Discount ranges from 5 to 50 percent and is valid on November 10th and 11th.
  • Sam’s Clubs will give away free Hugo Canes for veterans in need. You don’t need to be a Sam’s Club member in order to qualify – but hurry, supplies are limited.   This offer begins on November 9th and run through November 11th.
